Why this plugin?
There are other database cleaners. I used them, but I always found them were imperfect, with old UI, too many missing (or half-cooked) features, limited ways to look into the data. The worse for me is that none of them can actually can handle big databases! Based on all those issues, I craft my own, and here is the result. Jordy has done a top-notch job with immense attention to details. While not yet at release 1.0 as of the time of writing, the depth of thinking and understanding is evident. The foundations in thought and technical knowledge will permit this plugin to withstand the tests of time. I wish him well as he brings the product to final release along with associated documentation. This is an ambitious project as the breadth of factors his screens attest to are considerable. "Thorough" is an understatement.
This quality level is a gold standard that many plugins could aspire to.

Excellent database cleansing plugin

Ok so I found this plugin from the author's "Media Cleaner" plugin which I was very impressed with, and this one - although I was somewhat sceptical at the start, thanks to some bad experiences with plugins billed with similar features - has also left me extremely impressed.
I've had my WooCommerce site for more than 10 years, with who knows how many iterations, versions, different hosts, issues, orders, advancements and so on. In that time the database had become wayyyy too heavy and I was aware of it, but it was the elephant in the room that I never wanted to look at.
Finally this week I got around to it, encouraged by my usage of the Media Cleaner plugin and I'm super-happy I did. From a database far too large at 3.5 GB now down to only 1.1 GB, without losing any data or important information. The process was fast and easy to follow. My only suggestion to future users is to be careful, it's a strong plugin and potentially could kill your site if you're the type of person who loves clicking on buttons to see what happens, rather than thinking about it first.
Excellent plugin. 5 stars everyday.
